What are anti-static acrylic sheets?
Anti-static acrylic sheets, also known as ESD (Electro Static Discharge) acrylic sheets, are made from PMMA (Poly Methyl Methacrylate) resin particles.
In terms of characteristics and appearance, it is not different from regular acrylic sheets. The main difference is that ESD acrylic sheets are usually coated or mixed with an anti-static layer to dissipate any electric charges.
Anti-static acrylic sheets are commonly used in the electronics industry, clean rooms, or in environments with a risk of static electricity.
